The GenAI Open Innovation event on November 26 was a phenomenal success! Over 200 curated attendees, including startups and enterprise leaders, came together to explore transformative opportunities in Generative AI. A special thank you to HDBank for supporting this groundbreaking initiative!
π Driving Collaboration
The event was a melting pot of ideas and solutions, with discussions centered on making it easier for enterprises to adopt and integrate Generative AI innovations. Attendees shared insights into key use cases and critical considerations for driving seamless adoption, paving the way for startups and enterprises to collaborate effectively.
π€ Matchmaking in Action
One of the most impactful parts of the event was the 36 curated 1:1 matchmaking sessions.
- Participants: 18 GenAI startups and 6 enterprises, including Sovico Group, Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) by Petrovietnam, Globe Telecom, Phong Vu Trading – Service Company, WebTVAsia, and Pixlr Online AI Photo Editor.
- Focus: These sessions were designed to foster Proof of Concept (PoC) collaborations, matching enterprise needs with the innovative solutions offered by startups.

This partnership aims to strengthen enterprise-startup collaboration in Generative AI, enabling startups to leverage Sovicoβs vast network and industry expertise. Together, weβre creating pathways for startups to scale while advancing the GenAI ecosystem across key sectors like banking, aviation, and real estate.
π Expanding the Initiative
The overwhelming interest in this initiative highlights its catalytic role in fostering innovation:
- 200+ GenAI startups applied to participate.
- 40 enterprises expressed interest in connecting with curated GenAI startups.
Building on this success, we are thrilled to announce our plans to run 10 additional GenAI Open Innovation events, starting with Malaysia and Singapore in Q1 2025.
