Recap: Tasco Innovation Day 2026 (January 15)

On January 15, 2026, the tech world turned its eyes to Hanoi.

Tasco Innovation Day 2026 wasn’t just a typical event with speeches and networking. It was about one big goal: Connecting the best startups with Vietnam’s biggest mobility companies to solve real problems.

With over 600 registrations and 100+ startups, the energy was high. But more importantly, real work got done. Here is a look at the key highlights from the day.

1. The Conference & A Night of Celebration: Big Partnerships and Big Winners

Mr. Hoang Ngoc Nhan, Director General of the National Agency for Startups and Technology Entrepreneurship (Ministry of Science and Technology), gave the keynote speech

The main stage was all about setting the direction for the future.

Setting the Vision: The day opened with a powerful keynote speech by our Guest of Honour from the Ministry of Science and Technology, underscoring the critical alignment between national vision and enterprise-led innovation. This was followed by two dynamic panel discussions, bringing together Tasco leadership and executives from Vietnam’s “Big Tech” players. The dialogue covered everything from AI adoption challenges to the roadmap for connected infrastructure.

Signing the Future: The biggest moment of the morning was the official signing of agreements between Tasco and three major technology partners:

GenAI Fund: To help find and fund the best startups.
Zalo: To connect mobility services with millions of users.
BytePlus: To bring world-class AI technology to the automotive sector.

For GenAI Fund, this partnership is a game-changer. It means we can now give startups a direct path to work with Tasco’s massive ecosystem.

Evening: The Cocktail Night & Awards. After a long day of work, the energy shifted to networking night. It was a chance for founders, investors, and leaders to relax and connect.

During the celebration, we announced the winners of the “Most Voted Startup” awards. These were the teams that impressed the audience the most:

🏆 AI & Data Winner: IGOT AI – A platform that creates “Virtual Employees” to help businesses run smoother.
🏆 Mobility & Automotive Winner: Enso – A solution for cleaner, greener rides using biological technology.
🏆 Fintech & Insurtech Winner: MotionsCloud – An AI tool that speeds up insurance claims using just a phone camera.

2. Business Matching: Where Deals Were Made

While the conference set the vision, the Business Matching session is where the real work happened.

We didn’t want random meetings. Before the event, we gathered 30+ specific problems from Tasco’s different businesses—covering everything from Mobility and Insurance to Manufacturing, Retail, Water, and Energy.

We then selected 39 top startups from a pool of 300+ proposal submissions to solve these problems and put them in a room with the decision-makers. The results were incredible. 71 private 1:1 business matching meetings took place, with some startups matching across multiple business units.

This proves that when you put the right startup in front of the right business leader, things happen fast.

3. The Exhibition: A Global Showcase

Walking onto the exhibition floor felt like stepping into the future.

We hosted 102 startups showing off their latest technology. It wasn’t just local talent, either. We had innovators from 15+ markets, including teams from the US, Europe, and across Asia.

The crowd was just as diverse. Nearly 40% of our guests came from outside Vietnam, turning the event into a truly global gathering of investors, founders, and business leaders.
