The 1st ASEAN GenAI VC Startup Speed Dating event, a collaborative effort between GenAI Fund, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Xendit, successfully concluded on May 21st, marking a significant milestone in fostering connections between VCs and innovative GenAI startups across Southeast Asia.

After 6 back-to-back 1:1 meetings during the event, VCs and startups had several insightful discussions with each other. The event not only provided a platform for startups to showcase their innovations but also offered VCs insights into promising AI ventures within the ASEAN region. With the resounding success of the 1st ASEAN GenAI VC Startup Speed Dating event, we are poised to continue our collaborative efforts in nurturing the growth of GenAI startups and fostering a thriving ecosystem of innovation and investment across Southeast Asia.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to all the startups that have registered to take part in this initiative. However, due to constraints in vacancy and time, only 14 VCs and 21 startups could be accommodated at this event.
